1930 Model A Ford Fordor (Briggs Body)

The historical records for this automobile are complete, beginning with its purchase from the Ford Motor Company by Mr.  Harley Carothers, RFD#1, East Monroe, Ohio, to its present (5th) owner.  The original Bill of Sale is included with the car.  An off-chassis restoration was completed in 1961 by a collector who purchased the car from Mr. Carothers’ estate.  From then on, the car has been maintained to museum standards by the three succeeding owners. The original license plate is still on the vehicle.  In 2018 its originality was verified by the California Highway Patrol and the vehicle is now a DMV Certified Historical Vehicle with 67,000 original miles.  It is in excellent running condition. Original accessories include Ford script tools, Ford foot pump, tire mud cleats, owner’s manual, grease gun with lubrication fitting location poster, and a service and repair tech manual. The museum quality automobile is presently located in the San Diego, CA area.  It has recently had a complete mechanical evaluation, oil change and lubrication with petroleum products as specified in the owner’s manual.  It has been fitted with four new tires.
